Kilchoman is the perfect stop when heading north from England or south
from Scotland and the perfect base for touring Southern Scotland - Glasgow,
Edinburgh and the Ayrshire coast are less than 1 hour away.

Lanark - famous for its market gardening, sits over 200 metres above the upper reaches of the River Clyde. A statue of William Wallace - who lived in Lanark in the 13th to 14th century, sits in a niche of the 18th century Parish Church. Going south from Lanark takes you very quickly to New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde.
New Lanark was built in the 18th century as a model industrial mill village by David Dale, Richard Arkwright and Dale's son, Robert to develop a textile trade using Arkwright's spinning frame and power provided by the Clyde river.
The Falls of Clyde: At one end of New Lanark, you can see the wonderful beginnings of the River Clyde as it drops millions of tonnes of water onto the dark sandstone base of the tree covered gorge.
Douglas: For those wishing to golf, fish or walk, Douglas is an ideal centre.

Guest rooms, facilities, and the garden:
The 3 guest rooms (2 double and 1 twin) are all spacious, thoughtfully equipped rooms - one double has its own shower, bidet and toilet, the other double shares a bath/shower and toilet with the twin room: each room has TV, tea/coffee making facilities, Scottish shortbread, hairdryer, etc.Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden when weather permits.

Meals and other facilities:
A full breakfast is included in the tariff. Your hosts will always try their best to accommodate the individual preferences or dietary needs of any guest.Dinner is served in house for 12.50 pounds per head - please give at least 24 hours prior notice. There is a multitude of restaurants and good pubs to choose from in and around Douglas if you prefer to eat out.
A picnic lunch can be provided for 8.50 pounds per head.
