Property, setting and location:
Set back from the road beyond a rose garden, Infield House is a beautifully restored Victorian town house, lovingly appointed with period furnishings,  portraits and decor.

To the rear, there is a small lawned garden with shrubs and a car park and a wooded valley beyond.

Guest rooms, facilities and the garden:
There are two double bedrooms and one with twin single beds. All three have en-suite bath or shower and toilet, TV, hairdryer and an original Victorian fireplace.  The twin room overlooks the rose garden at the front of the house and one of the doubles looks out onto the back garden and a wooded valley beyond. The middle double bedroom has the additional luxury of a spa bath.

Breakfast is served in the pretty dining room, which has an Adam fireplace. There is also a comfortable lounge where you can relax.

The rear garden with terrace and lawn is small but peaceful - there are chairs on which you can relax in the sunshine or read a book.
 

Meals and other facilities:
Breakfast is always included in the basic tariff and your hosts offer an a la carte menu for dinner. Bring your own wine if you would like.
Picnic lunch is available.
Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can be accommodated with prior notice.
Communal phone in hall.
Parking off road to the rear.

Other details and house rules:
Children and house-trained pets are welcomed - the price for an additional child's bed in the parents' room is "negotiable".
No cot available but you can bring your own travel cot. A high chair is available for toddlers.
Smoking is not permitted in the house.
