Merzenich Guest House is a comfortable, modern ETB 3 Diamond bed and breakfast in the quiet cliff-top village of St Margaret's-at-Cliffe on the South Foreland Heritage Coast, which is just 6 minutes drive from the cross channel ferry port at Dover and less than 30 minutes to the Channel Tunnel.

There are beautiful cliff-top walks with views in fine weather of the French coast. Other choice walks include the North Downs Way, the route that pilgrims took in the middle ages from Canterbury to take ship from Dover. The beautiful holy city of Canterbury is about 20 miles distant.

A perfect, relaxing resting place whether you are on your way to and from France or looking for a holiday break in the beautiful Garden of England countryside.

4 clean, tastefully decorated double, twin or single rooms are available, all with private bath/shower and toilet, colour TV and tea & coffee making facilities. Phone and hairdyer are available in-house. One bedroom is in the roof space.

Meals and other facilities:
Breakfast menu is included in the basic tariff and is served in the dining room or, in summer, in the conservatory.

Vegetarian and other dietary needs can be accommodated with prior notice.

Dinner is not served in-house but there are excellent meals to be eaten in several local pubs.
