Property, setting and location:
Link Lodge is a beautiful and welcoming Queen Anne Country House, where Sir Edward Elgar was once the visiting music teacher.  It is a Grade II listed building, with many original Georgian architectural features, including curved walls and a wonderful curved staircase.   Built as a gentleman’s residence in about 1700, it was used as a private girls’ school during the last war.  The house and garden overlook Malvern Link Common and the Malvern Hills

Restaurants, local shops, buses and the railway station are all less than five minutes walk away.  Link Lodge is conveniently located for Malvern Town Centre, the Three Counties Showground, the Morgan Motor Company and, of course, the famous Hills.  The city of Worcester is eight minutes away by train and Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and the Cotswolds are all within easy driving distance.

Link Lodge has  a terrace and an acre of well-tended landscaped gardens, in which guests can relax or enjoy a game of croquet on the lawn.  There is a large gravelled area in front of the house providing secure off-road parking.

Meals and other facilities:
The standard tariff includes Traditional English Breakfast.

 A  four-course traditional or vegetarian breakfast, cooked on the Aga, is served in the large farmhouse-style kitchen and included in the basic tariff.  Special diets or other needs may be catered for with advance notice.

For other meals there are good restaurants within walking distance.

Other details and house rules:
Guests can retrieve and send email messages during their stay, or use the internet for train timetables etc.
Children and house trained pets are welcomed.
Secure off road car parking.
No smoking establishment - smoking only permitted in covered area outside.
Bikes available on loan.
