Property, setting and location:
Trevose is a charming old 19th century sandstone house in the very centre of the tiny city of Dornoch on Sutherland's east coast. Set in a pretty garden, it is situated in a conservation area of this ancient Royal Burgh, right next to the cathedral and overlooking the green.

You are just four minutes walk from the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Club and Dornoch's acclaimed beach.

Dornoch is a sleepy, olde world town, ideal for a relaxing, restful break. It is well situated for touring the rugged Northern and Western Highlands or a journey break on the way to the Orkney Islands. Outdoor pursuits such as fishing, coast and hill walking, bird watching and, of course, golf are all on the doorstep.

The emphasis is on a homely atmosphere - the aim is that you should relax and enjoy your stay. Good value for money is assured.

Guest rooms, facilities, meals and the garden:
 There are 4 guest bedrooms, all bright and spacious and furnished to a high standard with TV and hairdyer:

1. A double or twin bedded room with en-suite shower, sharing a separate toilet.
2. A double room sharing bathroom and toilet.
3. A double or twin bedded room with shower and toilet en-suite.
4. A twin bedded room with private toilet but sharing separate bath and shower.

An extra child's bed can be provided on request.

There is a comfortable and restful sitting room with TV, where you are permitted to smoke.

The garden is planted with roses and seasonal flowers - a colourful display all year round.

Meals and other facilities:
Breakfast, served in the well appointed dining room, is always included in the tariff: fruit, juice and cereals on a self-serve basis and a wide choice of cooked Scottish Breakfast, served to order. Eat as much as you wish - noone ever leaves here feeling hungry!

Dinner is not served in-house but there are restaurants in Dornoch within walking distance.

Sorry, smoking is not allowed except in the sitting room.
Children and house trained dogs welcome - the latter must not be left unattended in bedroom.
