Set on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands, close to the Cheshire and Derbyshire borders and adjacent to the western edge of the Peak District National Park, this is an area famous for its beautiful scenery, country walks, well dressings and antique shops.

Alton Towers, Manchester Airport, Jodrell Bank, the old market towns of Leek, Macclesfield, Buxton and Congleton and the Stoke-on-Trent Potteries are all within a short drive, as are several stately homes (Biddulph Grange, Little Moreton Hall), fishing, bird watching, boating, golf, shooting, riding, cycling.

Both en-suite bedrooms have been recently created in the old Granary, retaining much of the buildings original character with exposed beams and local sandstone features. They have an independent entrance, king-size beds and a large TV, hairdryer, central heating, fridge and all usual extras.

The "Granary" bedroom has a king siz double bed and en-suite shower and toilet.

The “Loft” is a larger room with views over three counties, its own lounge and kitchen, en-suite shower and toilet and is suitable for self-catering if preferred.

Being first floor accommodations, they are unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.

Extra single bed or baby's cot available on request.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden.

Meals and other facilities:

Breakfast is always included in the basic tariff and is served in the dining room - vegetarian diets can be accommodated with prior notice.

Picnic lunch can be provided on request - approximate price 2.50gbp.

For other meals there is a good choice of good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Boot/clothes drying facilities by arrangement.

Secure parking off road - garage on request.

Kennels and cattery nearby.
